Testimonials From Parents And Professionals

I must say, taking this course is one of the best decisions I have made to increase my knowledge and improve my ability to provide holistic support to families. Thanks!
Liliana Diaz, CPA, ADHD & Executive Function Parent Coach
I knew I needed better communication skills to be able to cope with the new phase of our relationship. …I think it was one the smartest thing I ever did in my life. I feel it is going to bring me closer to my son and understand what he was trying to tell me, for a very simple reason, I now know how to communicate with a calm and collaborative problem-solving attitude instead of being a judgmental, short-tempered parent. I love my son dearly. If this will make me help him and not enable him, I will do it again and again and again. For me, that was the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Cindy.
Amal Alsayer
This training course and Calm and Connected© material are so fantastic; it’s meaty with descriptions of, most importantly, what it’s like for kids with ADHD, with concepts like disability thinking on the parent’s end to help defray emotional reaction to child’s behaviors, solid and sensible communication techniques that can work in ANY relationship… Your delivery is therapeutic, positive, and easy to maintain full attention for 2 hours at a clip.
Heidi P. (Mother and ADHD Parent Coach Academy Graduate)
Cindy Goldrich is a phenomenal instructor and made it simple to stay engaged. As a result, I earned an APCA license to teach Calm and Connected: Parenting Children and Teens with Executive.
Robyn
I attended your conference at WSBOCES in January…loved it…and have used many of your strategies (and ways of thinking) in my classroom.
Pamela, 1st Grade Teacher
I have thoroughly enjoyed both classes and learned so much. I am excited about providing these services in my community and encourage other professionals to attend Cindy’s training.
Monica
What a great curriculum. Parents had positive feedback with their kids already!! I really like how it flowed. So glad I can offer support and education to parents. Thank you for putting this together.
Roberta H. (ADHD Parent Coach Academy Graduate)
This course really made me look at my son as not just a boy, not just an ADHD kid, but as himself. I’m enjoying him so much more. I look at him through a different lens now and don’t worry so much about what he’s not doing in school. He’s my little buddy. He’s so much more than just his struggles.

Cindy’s coaching programs are fantastic. She teaches you in a way in which you feel encouraged and empowered to try new methods and approaches to supporting your child(ren) with ADHD.

I have taken Cindy’s 6-week parenting course and attended her parent support group. They both are terrific and blend just the right amount of education, insight, support, and sharing. Cindy is a highly competent and expert coach who is able to make what sometimes seems like the impossible, possible, and even achievable. She is also a warm and caring coach who draws on her wealth and breadth of experience to help parents better understand and effectively parent their children.
Marcia H.
I highly recommend working with Cindy. She brings, calm, clarity, and wisdom to your family when you need it most. She understands the challenges you encounter on a daily basis and helps you over the hurdles. Cindy provides her wisest insights and still respects your position and supports you unwaveringly. Most importantly, she helps you see your child in a new light so that you can be your child’s biggest advocate. I am forever grateful for all that Cindy has taught me and my family.

“Your presentation provided easy-to-implement practical suggestions for empowering those who work with children with ADHD, and other related challenges, as well as recognizing and understanding their own as well as the student’s strengths. We admire how you responded so well to the questions and gave great advice, ideas and comfort with your responses.”
Ellen Maiseloff, MA Opening the Doors Partnership Program Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit
If it hadn’t been for your course and your outreach to parents I wouldn’t have been able to advocate for my son. Now he can receive the support he needs to reach his potential. Thank YOU!
Martha S.
Cindy Goldrich is insightful, real, and reassuring. If you are wondering whether your struggles with your atypical child are typical, Cindy’s seminar is the best place to start. You will find common ground immediately with other parents who adore their children but are struggling immensely. You will find answers to your questions. You will find laughter and camaraderie. You will find reassurance that you are already a good parent — one who will increasingly strengthen bonds and provide the best support you can with Cindy’s guidance, tools, and strategies. Cindy is the best type of coach — one who provides the most up-to-date science, research, and educational insights while also providing the means to more calm and confidence that are the very art of parenting. I encourage you to take the opportunity to join Cindy’s seminar; you will not be disappointed.

The 1st meeting I had with Cindy I just vented and she listened. She was compassionate and knowledgeable and helped me realize I could help my son. After Cindy visited my son’s school and spoke with his teacher I knew she was an awesome asset to my son’s education. The strategies she suggested to his teacher worked within a week and he is on a path to success.
Emily L.
I now really know how to distinguish if my child is being willfully defiant or manipulative or if he is just really struggling to do what he should. This allows me to respond more effectively and help really change the outcomes.
Elisa R.
You’ve developed a really brilliant program here. I wish I had it when my son was first diagnosed 10 years ago!
Gwynn A. (Mother and APCA Parent Coach Academy Graduate)
I enjoyed your presentation. You were energetic, and informative, and made the learning accessible by using lots of real-life examples. I walked away with greater insight, strategies, and tools I will use in my classroom. Thank you!
Ms. B., 6th grade teacher
Thanks for the great presentation today. As a school counselor, I wanted to hit the record button and press play for my parents/teachers.

I feel so much less stress, as a parent. I knew I probably needed to be more consistent, set limits, and create structure, but now I have the tools and confidence to really make the changes for me and for my child.

Thank you so much for your training. I really took your advice at the session to heart and I’ve made a shift in my position from that of a parent who believes her child’s teachers don’t “get it,” to that of a parent who realizes that his teachers probably mean well but likely do not have the depth of training needed to really understand the needs of these diverse learners. As a counselor, and a parent of a child with ADHD and dyslexia, I realize that my personal experience and training have provided me with insights and tools that I can share with his teachers so they might be able to better help him and other students. I’m also reaching out to the principal and the counseling and case management team to see if there are ways that I can help educate teachers and other parents. I have to tread lightly–I don’t want to step on toes–but I genuinely feel that I can help make a difference in the lives of students at our school.
Sara H.
You have given me renewed joy with my daughter. Thank you so much!
Marissa C.
I loved your workshop yesterday!! I immediately started re-reading your handouts and feel very inspired. I can’t wait to implement many of the strategies, especially showing how the neurons connect and what is happening inside their brains. I also love the two homework handouts.
Lisa, Elementary Teacher
I attended your webinar, “Managing Homework: Parents Edition” this past week. It was one of the most informative webinars I have attended regarding kids with ADD. We have been struggling with my son, who is now a sophomore, for years with his homework and completing assignments on time. This gave me so much valuable information that I am going to utilize. In addition to all of the valuable information, the whole webinar was well put together, it flowed nicely, and was easy to follow along and understand. I am a former trainer myself so I understand how much time goes into a quality presentation like this. You also were very easy to understand and you didn’t speak too fast. It moved at a nice pace.
Thank you for your time and expertise.
Kim P.
I really enjoyed this training! I learned so much from you and have been reflecting on everything I have learned from the moment the course began. You are an excellent teacher and obviously a gifted parent coach. I have derived so many benefits from this training including a stronger ability to stay calm, listen to others, appreciate my strengths as a coach as well as a clinician…
Lauren A. (ADHD Parent Coach Academy Graduate)

I’m sure you’ve heard over and over from coaching trainees that they wished they had Calm and Connected for their own family issues. I know that’s how I feel. And though my son is in a good place, and feeling fulfilled yet still learning, I have really kept this curriculum in mind when the much less occasional friction rears up. So thank you! Your delivery is therapeutic, positive, and easy to maintain full attention for 2 hours at a clip. Honest, and clear, and so willing to clear up any confusion in a calm manner.
Heidi P. (Mother and ADHD Parent Coach Academy Graduate)

Thank you again for such educational and well-organized instruction. At this time I actually don’t have any immediate follow-up questions. However, if and when I choose to begin parent coaching (outside of working with parents of students) I know I will be appreciative of having you and your wealth of experience as a resource. Thank you for everything,
