What Actually Helps Kids with ADHD — and Why So Many Strategies Fall Short
For Educators, Therapists & Coaches Ready to Make a Real Impact

Over 2,000 educators, therapists, coaches, and professionals signed up for my recent webinar.
This reinforced something I’ve known for a long time:
Professionals genuinely want better tools and understanding to help kids with ADHD and the parents, teachers, and systems surrounding them.
I created a shorter video based on highlights from that webinar to share with my broader community.
The bottom line is this:
Most professionals were never given a real framework for understanding ADHD, executive function, motivation, regulation, and behavior.
And when we understand what’s actually happening, everything clicks for parents and students.

A few ideas I hope stay with you:
Challenging behavior happens when demands exceed a child’s capacity to respond in that moment. We often see the behavior — but not the story behind it.
ADHD is not a motivation problem or a character flaw. It’s a neurological difference that affects attention, regulation, motivation, and follow-through.
Real change doesn’t happen by focusing only on the child. It happens through the adults supporting them.
Most educators and professionals have received little formal training in ADHD or executive function, despite working with these kids every day.
For some people, this work happens primarily with parents and families.
For others, it happens within schools and classrooms.
That’s why I created two separate training programs.
ADHD Parent Coach Academy (APCA — starts May 27)
ADHD Teacher Trainer Academy (ATTA — starts June 2)
